Gauge the efficacy of your campaigns and monitor click-through rates, SMS responses, customer data updates and more.

Reporting and analytics play an important role in understanding how well your campaigns perform.

Use the information you gather in your reporting to understand:

  • What worked and what could be improved upon

  • How your customers have interacted with your template

  • Which features were most utilized

  • Feedback in the form of user inputs

  • Marketing segments to retarget in the future

  • And many other valuable insights.

Accessing and downloading reports

There are two ways to access your reports on Mobiz, which we'll outline below.

Method A - Access reports via the campaign dashboard

  1. Log in to the Mobiz platform and navigate to the Campaign dashboard on your top left.

  2. Select the campaign that you'd like to review the performance of from the list.

  3. Click on any of the numbers in the summary view to the right of the graph and you'll be taken to the Analytics dashboard for a more detailed view.

Method B - Access reports via the side navigation menu

  1. Log in to the Mobiz platform and navigate to the Analytics dashboard on your bottom left.

  2. Select the campaign that you'd like to review the performance of from the list.

  3. You'll be presented with a detailed analytics view of your campaign statistics.

From the Analytics dashboard, you can view each of the various Report Types by selecting them from the left-hand side navigation bar. The various report types available are discussed below.

Downloading your reports can be done from the top right-hand corner of each dashboard.

Use Filter Engagements to specify the engagement within your campaign you'd like to see results for.

Use the Period toggle to set the date range for your campaign statistics, and view campaign performance in specific time segments - days, weeks months.

Once you've selected your engagement and date range tap on the downward arrow to download your report.

You'll be presented with a list of report types for download:

  • SMS Delivery Log: This report contains information about delivery times, cellphone networks, and delivery status.

  • SMS Reply Log: A report containing all SMS replies sent from customers to your campaign.

  • CT (Click-Through) Log: A list of all customers that clicked through, as well as the date and time which they clicked through.

  • First Engagement Log: This report provides information regarding when the SMS was delivered to the customer's device, and when the customer first clicked on the SMS link.

  • Invalid Phone Numbers: A list of invalid phone numbers in the client database.

  • Delivery Error Log - A list of delivery errors with status codes - the status codes in this report will match one of the statuses as outlined below under the SMS status codes section.

Next, you'll be presented with the Report Builder modal.

Customize your report as desired by selecting your Log Fields, File Type, Action, and more. Once you're ready to download your report, tap on Go.

You'll see the Scheduled Logs screen next. Here, you'll see all previously requested report logs, as well as your most recent request. While the report is generating you'll see a Pending status. Keep this modal screen open until you see the status change to Completed | Download. Tap on Download to retrieve your report.

SMS status codes

Depending on the report that you request, you may see the below status codes:

  • DELIVRD - Refers to the successful submission of the SMS to the handset. The cellular network reports the status.

  • UNDELIV - Refers to the unsuccessful submission of the SMS to the handset, caused by inactive or unreachable numbers. The cellular network reports the status.

  • XPIRED - Refers to no status update being received within the validity period. This is usually caused by the handset being off, going to voicemail, being redirected, or the handset being out of network reach.

  • SUBMITD - The SMS has been submitted to the cellular network for delivery. We are waiting for a status update from the cellular network.


SMS Reports

Applicable for Standard SMS campaigns.

The SMS dashboard provides insights into how well your standard SMS campaign performed.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Recipients: The number of customers that you sent the SMS to. This will correspond to the size of your database (minus any errors or undeliverable numbers).

  • Delivered: This means that the SMS has a confirmed delivery from the Network, and has been successfully sent to the recipients' cellphone number.

  • Errors: These relate to numbers in the database that are either incorrect or were unable to deliver for a different reason, such as being temporarily out of service. The Mobiz sender will make three attempts within a 24-hour period to deliver an SMS to the intended recipient and an error will be returned after three failed attempts.

  • Replies: If any of your customers sent direct replies via SMS, the number of responses will be recorded here. The actual replies can be viewed further down on the dash.

  • Opt-Outs: Statistics here represent recipients that have selected to opt out from your mailing list.

SmartSMS Reports

Applicable for SmartSMS, QR Code, and Weblink Campaigns.

SmartSMSes have more functionality and therefore the dashboard has a wealth of information available. To learn about each of these dashboard sub-categories continue reading below.

SMS Interaction

The SMS Interaction dashboard provides insights into how well the campaign SMS performed, and how your customers interacted with the initial SMS received. You'll also be able to view the latest available SMS replies from customers.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Recipients: The number of customers that have been submitted to the carrier for sending.

  • Delivered: This means that the SMS has a confirmed delivery from the cellular network, and has been successfully sent to the recipients' cellphone number.

  • Errors: These relate to numbers in the database that are either incorrect or were unable to be delivered to for a different reason, such as they are temporarily out of service. The Mobiz sender will make three attempts within a 24-hour period to deliver an SMS to the intended recipient and an error will be returned after three failed attempts.

  • Opt-Outs: Statistics here represent recipients that have selected to opt out from your mailing list.

  • Click-Through: This is the total number of customers that clicked through from your SmartSMS link to view your template, including customers that clicked more than once.

  • Unique CT: This is the total number of unique customers that clicked through from your SmartSMS link to view your template, with no duplicate records.

Page View

The Page View dashboard provides insights into how many times each of the pages within your template were viewed.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

  • Pages Viewed: The total number of times users clicked to view the unique pages in the template (other than the Home page).

External Link

If you were to include links to external web pages within your template (such as direct links to a product page) you can view how many times they were clicked on in the External Link dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total External Clicks: The total number of times a customer clicked on an external link from your template.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

Contact Link

If you have inserted redirect communications links, such as call or email redirects, into your template, you'll be able to view how many times they were triggered on this dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Contact Clicks: The total number of times customers clicked on embedded contact links within the template.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

User Inputs

User Inputs include any sections of your template that are designed to capture information provided by the customer. For example, a survey submission, or a sign-up form.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Submits: The total number of times the submit button was successfully used to complete the action, such as submitting a survey response.

  • Total Abandoned: The total number of times the submit page was abandoned without the action being completed. Incomplete data set submissions, such as where a required document was not uploaded, will also reflect here.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

Payments

The Payments dashboard will provide details of sessions with integrated payment partners.

Note: Statistics for links to external payment partners can be viewed under the External Links dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

  • Request Amount: The total number of payment sessions that were initiated on the template.

  • Error Amount: The total number of times that errors occurred during payment sessions. This is usually brought about by customers entering amounts lower than the set threshold, for example.

  • Canceled Amount: The total number of times payment sessions were terminated before completion.

  • Failed Amount: The total number of times payments were submitted but the transaction failed.

  • Success Amount: The total number of successful payments made through the integrated payment partner.

File Upload

File uploads may be required for various use cases, such as new account sign-ups requiring FICA documents like ID books, or proof of address. If your template includes this feature, you'll be able to view how many times it was utilized on the File Upload dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Attempts: This is the total number of times customers attempted to use the file upload feature, irrespective of it this was successful or not.

  • Total Completed: The total number of upload attempts that were successful.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

QR Scan (URL)

This dashboard is linked to QR campaigns specifically and provides insight into how many times customers interacted with your QR code.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Scans: The total number of times customers scanned the QR code using a scanning device.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

Contact Download

It is possible to insert downloadable contact cards within your template, allowing customers to save a virtual business card for easy reference. To see how many times this feature was accessed in your template, view the Contact Download dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Contact Download: The total number of times your virtual Contact card was downloaded by customers.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.

Calendar Download

Allow customers to save the date for your big sale, launch, or event to their own personal digital calendar. To see how many times your reminder has been downloaded, visit the Calendar Download dashboard.

Statistics you'll see on this dashboard are:

  • Total Calendar Download: The total number of times customers downloaded the calendar reminder from your template.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of times the template was viewed.
